Week 2

Greetings fellow bloggers and readers. I hope all of you are having a great day. I had an interesting week. I got to learn about the new google earth, a place I have fond memories of as a child filed for bankruptcy, and the Flyers won in overtime! I'm pretty sure everyone has seen or heard of google earth at this point. It's been around for a little while now, but did you know it recently got a face lift? For anyone who's already heard enough a link can be found here . There are a plethora of new features to be excited about. The whole world can now be viewed in 3D, "I'm Feeling Lucky" is now in Google Earth as well, or you can use voyage to go on a historical tour of the entire world essentially. My personal favorite though is within the voyage tab you can visit all of Ernest Hemingway's favorite hangouts. Ever since visiting his house in Key West I've had somewhat of a fascination with him and I had a ton of fun visiting the same locations he did

The First Week

As far as an introduction goes my name is Jeffrey Robert Turner jr., but everyone calls me JR. I'm a junior at Stockton University, but still feel like a freshman; time flies. I took this class because when I heard the word portfolio I immediately thought stocks, but it turns out there are portfolios concerning things other than investments. I'm still going to stick with it though. Reason one being I'm too lazy to drop now and have to find a whole new class (that probably will be less interesting than this) and have to make up two weeks of work. Reason two is, I think there is some valuable information to be taken away from this course and I'm interested to stick around and hear what else I can use to benefit me in my not so distant future.  I'm also a finance major. Hence why I was looking for a class about investment portfolios. I still have no idea what I want to do when I get out of school. I don't aspire to be anything special. I'd just like to contr
